You have heard it before. It is hard to start over. It is so hard to take that first step and decide to see where it goes. It is always day by day, date by date and that is ok. It is beautiful that we can always remake the next moment-- there is always another moment as long as we will it. But we have to show up.
My friends and I got together and talked about heartbreak and time and sadness. I am listening to Elvis Aloha from Hawaii as I write this. An epic concert for the island and the man that loved it so much. He lost his way but to the brokenhearted fans of his years later, we will not. This is a story about survival.
